Philosophers’ talk: Thank you to Eirlin Enid Souza for her drawing.

Eirlin, a four years old girl, left her drawing at my studio. The drawing became a starting point for my installation consisting of drawing acts, photographs, a song and sculptures. I used the installation as an exercise to understand thinking of the French philosopher Alain Badiou. The event was on the year 2009. I continued the play with Eirlin’s and my own images in 2022. Now the acts became part of the group exhibition Élan vital and Momentum in Rangsdorf, in Germany. A title and an idea of the exhibition were based on concepts of the French philosopher Henri Bergson. His concept ‘Élan vital’ led my thought back to the year 2009.
